ZACH LIPOVSKY

Zach Lipovsky is a director and VFX artist.  Crazy Late, his award-winning short film pushed him forward in the worldwide search for up-and-coming filmmakers On the Lot produced by Steven Spielberg and Mark Burnett.  Zach was the only Canadian to make it to the top 18, beating out of 12,000 filmmakers.  Zach went on to direct his first feature length movie Tasmanian Devils, a Syfy monster movie starring Danika McKellar (Wonder Years) and famed speed-skater Apolo Ono.  Zach produced Afflicted, a Canadian genre found footage film that sold at Cannes to CBS, Alliance Atlantis and Sony.  The film premiered at Toronto International Film Festival in 2013.  He then went on to directed the reboot of the Leprechaun franchise for Lionsgate and WWE Studios, Leprechaun: Origins, and Dead Rising for Legendary Pictures, based on the very popular zombie video game franchise. He wrote and directed FREAKS, starring Emile Hirsch and Bruce Dern, premiered at Toronto International Film Festival 2018.
