Tomoya Suzuki joined Hakuhodo Inc. and spent his initial years developing marketing strategy plans and working on TV commercial production. He then spearheaded the development of next generation media business content at Hakuhodo DY Media Partners Inc. He obtained his MFA from The Peter Stark Producing Program at the University of Southern California, School of Cinematic Arts and returned to Hakuhodo in 2009. He has since specialized in development and producing of Hollywood remake based on Japanese content and of digital media contents. "Tsuyako," (Director: Mitsuyo Miyazaki), a short film he produced, won numerous awards from various international film festivals including Academy Award qualifying festivals.
